Our October grade membership challenge wrapped up on Halloween, and 6th grade takes it with 30.5% of families signed up. A popsicle party is coming their way in November.
Final standings:
- 6th grade — 30.5% — 102 of 334 families
- 7th grade — 27.9% — 84 of 301 families
- 8th grade — 22.1% — 64 of 290 families
A record year. 232 Frost families have joined the PTSA so far this year — 362 members in all. Last year we finished at 153 families, and the best year we have on record was 171. That’s 27% of the school, and it’s only November.
Thank you to every family who joined, to the parents who donated all 26 raffle prizes, and to everyone who shared the word with another Frost family. All three grades moved, and that’s what got us here.
Not a member yet? You can still join any time this year. Membership is $25 for one parent and $55 for two, and it funds after-school activity buses, the spelling bee, Hispanic Heritage Month prizes, and the 8th grade dance and promotion.
